NHS Survival has announced that it has officially partnered with the UK's largest online doctors' forum Doctors.net.uk.
The official partnership between the UK's most subscribed doctors forum, DNUK, and lobbying group NHS Survival comes during a week of unprecedented talk and press about junior and consultant contracts.
The partnership brings the call for a Royal Commission to the attention of thousands of UK doctors. A front page article on the DNUK site highlights NHS Survival's commitment to making positive steps towards ensuring a safely staffed and adequately funded NHS.
DNUK Educational Lead Dr James Queckett said "The aim is to show what we collectively can do, time for whinging about it is past perhaps now time to actually do something."
NHS Survival has been lobbying MPs to consider publicly supporting a Royal Commission for the NHS, and has been talking with various professional and patient groups about official partnerships. The partnership with DNUK is the first of many to be announced over the next few weeks, and strengthens the foundations of support for the non-profit organisation.
