Two of the NHS Survival founding team members have been included in the 2015 Pulse Power 50 list of the most influential GPs in the UK.
Compiled from over 450 nominations, the annual list heralds the movers and shakers in the General Practice community. Dr Zoe Norris and Dr Hamed Khan, both core founding members of NHS Survival were included in the list for the first time.
Pulse editor Nigel Praities said "Another generation of leaders is emerging, often insurgent, social-media savvy and angry about where general practice is heading. And they are often not coming through the usual channels of the BMA or the RCGP."
Dr Zoe Norris is a well known blogger for Pulse, and the Huffington Post, and has appeared on Newsnight. As recently as this morning she appeared on BBC Breakfast highlighting the GP staffing crisis in rural areas.
Dr Hamed Khan has represented NHS Survival on Channel 4 news, and acts as the official spokesperson for NHS Survival. He has also been interviewed countless times for radio, Sky News and the BBC.
Both doctors are passionate about the NHS and have been elemental in bringing together patients, public and professionals in a call for an independent Royal Commission for the NHS.
